Foundation Development Grants  

Program Purpose

The purpose of a Foundation Development Grant is to provide operational support funds to aid a foundation in improving its organizational capacity.

  •      INAPEF Grant Winners for 2007

     

    1.  Brownsburg Education Foundation -  $1270.00

                Provides funds for the development of a Five Year Strategic Plan.

     

    2.  Lake Central Education Foundation - $1,382.00

                  Provides funds to increase the number of members.

     

    3.  Penn-Harris-Madison Education Foundation - $1,500.00

                   Provides funds to provide computer, printer and software

     

    4.  South Putnam Community Education Foundation - $2,150

                   Provides funds for software, website development, and marketing materials.

     

    5.  Warsaw Education Foundation - $2,500.00

                  Provides funds for development of a strategic plan for marketing and fund raising.

     

    6.  Zionsville Education Foundation - $1,270

                  Provides funds for creating a 5-year strategic plan.

     

  •    INAPEF Grant Winners for 2006

    1. Bartholomew Consolidated School Foundation - $1,500.00

    Provides funding for a laptop personal computer and software for a new part-time executive director as well as for new fundraising brochures.

    1. Center Grove Education Foundation, Inc. - $1,046.25

    Provides funding for an outside professional to provide guidance on improving board performance; in addition, funds will be used to improve and maintain their website. 

    1. Hamilton Southeastern Schools Foundation - $500.00

    Provides funds to assist in payment of the registration fee for the executive director to attend the Fund Raising School’s Principle and Techniques of Fundraising class.  

    1. Lake Central Education Foundation - $866.00

    Provides seed money for this new education foundation’s efforts to start a new annual fundraising event.

    1. Pike Township Educational Foundation, Inc. - $1,600.00

    Provides funds to assist in payment of the registration fee for their board to attend a one-day retreat offered by the Fund Raising School entitled “Purposeful Boards, Powerful Fundraising”.

    1. School City of Mishawaka Education Foundation, Inc. - $1,500.00

    Provides funding to assist in hiring part-time staff as well as purchase a printer and printer software. 

    1. South Putnam Community Education Foundation - $500.00

    Provides funding to complete their application for IRS 501 c 3 status. 

    1. Springs Valley Education Foundation - $2,000.00

    Provides funding to assist in their efforts to develop its first donor database by contacting alumni of their high school.

    1. Tri-Creek Education Foundation, Inc. - $500.00

    Provides funds to assist in purchasing supplies for their proposed donor recognition/marketing event. 

     

 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT GRANTS

 

Funded by a generous donation from State Farm Insurance

 

Larry Dollison presents State Farm Insurance’s donation to fund the 2006 INAPEF Professional Development Grants.  INAPEF President, Amy Walker, accepts the check and expresses the appreciation of INAPEF, as well as the teachers and students who will benefit from the Professional Development Grants.
